Swan’s Coelogyne
Coelogyne swaniana
Medium-sized epiphyte from humid forests of Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia and Sumatra, where it grows from sea level to around 1700 m. Pseudobulbs bear long arching leaves and produce pendulous spikes carrying many cream flowers with a yellow-brown patterned lip, usually in autumn to winter. Grow intermediate, in medium to fairly bright light, with very high humidity and constantly moist but free-draining substrate.
