Miniature epiphyte from high-elevation forests of western Colombia and Ecuador between about 1400 and 2400 m. It forms small clumps with elliptic leaves and freely produces clusters of small red-orange flowers resembling currant berries. Best grown cool-intermediate in deep shade with very humid air and an evenly moist, fine-root-friendly medium.
