Variation of Pleurothallis grobii, only half of the size. Pleurothallis grobyi is an absolutely fantastic and very easy orchid species to grow in a terrarium. This species is tolerant of many conditions within a terrarium and blooms quite regularly. The grobyi micro has leaves that stay in the 3-5cm range typically. Under high light the leaves get a beautiful purple hue to them. This species flowers on an apical racemose that will be 4-8cm long typically with up to a dozen bright yellow flowers on each. Typically once the plant begins to flower it will send up many racemosus and create a stunning show in your terrarium! This species does best when mounted epiphytically and misted regularly.
