Miniature Porroglossum form native to Ecuadorian cloud forest, recorded around 1000-1400 m elevation. Plants form small clumps with short leaves and produce arching spikes that carry a few yellowish flowers with the characteristic hinged trigger lip of the genus. In nature it grows in deep shade and intermediate temperatures with constant mist. In cultivation it prefers full shade, cool to intermediate conditions, very high humidity and evenly moist but airy substrate or mounts.
